Update: The Cherry Mobile Titan TV is official! It’s now available at P6,999. We’ve updated the spec sheet (found below) accordingly.

You know a brand has hit newsmaker status when people begin speculating about its yet-to-be-released products. And right now, Cherry Mobile is practically on fire in the Philippines. Thanks to the Cherry Mobile Flare (see also Review: Cherry Mobile Flare, P3,999 dual-core Android phone) and a bevy of other low-priced smartphone releases, the company has found itself right up there among the multinational elite.

Granted the Filipino firm currently commands our attention, it’s not surprising to see supposed Cherry Mobiles get leaked online. But unlike most premature narratives surrounding unconfirmed devices, we get the feeling this one is grounded on solid and sound evidence.

And for good reason: The evidence in question, which comes in the form of an alleged, unreleased flyer courtesy of a Cherry Mobile Flare Facebook group member, points to the existence of three upcoming Cherry Mobile Androids. Among them is the now-official—and Lazada Philippines week-long exclusive—Cherry Mobile Thunder, a dual-core handset with modest hardware priced at P4,999. (Related article: 4.5-inch Cherry Mobile Thunder: Bringing the thunder at P4,999.)

Completing the trio of unofficial devices are the Cherry Mobile Burst and the Cherry Mobile Titan TV. While we’re on the topic, we’ll briefly discuss what we think we know about them.

Cherry Mobile Burst

Supposedly, the Cherry Mobile Burst is pretty much everything the Cherry Mobile Flare is, except it comes in a more hand-friendly, pebble-shaped form factor. Beneath the 4-inch IPS touchscreen, you get a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon chip, along with 4GB of expandable memory, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, and Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Like the wallet-friendly Flare, this dual-SIM handset is expected to go on sale at P3,999.

Cherry Mobile Burst specs:

  • Dual-SIM slots
  • 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon chip
  • 4GB internal storage
  • microSD card slot up to 32GB
  • 4-inch IPS display
  • WiFi, 3G, and Bluetooth connectivity
  • 5-megapixel rear camera with flash
  • Front camera
  • Android Ice Cream Sandwich

Cherry Mobile Titan TV

A phablet unlike any other in the local market, the Cherry Mobile Titan TV wields a monster, 6-inch WVGA panel and 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel main and secondary cameras.

As you may have gathered, the kicker here is a built-in TV tuner which lets you watch free-to-air channels available in the Philippines. Among the other technical highlights leaked in the flyer: a dual-core processor, 4GB of internal memory, and Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Imagine all this for only P6,999. Can you say, “Shut up and take our money?” We certainly can.

Cherry Mobile Titan TV specs:

  • Dual-SIM slots
  • TV tuner
  • Stylus
  • 1GHz dual-core chip

Ok tong Titan.

Titan TV is worth the buck, 6-7k you have a dualcore A9 processor and a gig of ram, for me ics is much preferred than jb because the latter eats up alot of memory to maintain its “buttery smooth” claim. There isnt any phone out there with that size of a screen, dual core dual sim 1gig of ram, not to mention free case, free stylus that becomes an antenna when plugged on to the phone.
